In 2022, I ran the numbers. Eighteen months of work, roughly $14,000 spent on contractors, ads, and tools. Revenue: $2,200 total. I was not broke in the way that makes a good story — I still had savings — but I was running out of time and I knew it. I had a daughter on the way and I needed a system that worked, not another experiment.
How AI changed everything
The shift happened when I stopped trying to build the next startup and started using AI to deliver value for other people immediately.
